details.
I am fairly obsessed with these new 80's granny boots. I have a feeling you'll see them a lot in weeks (& months) to come.

Being inspected by various curious animals.
This is what I wore last night, after driving five hours south-east, to see a friend's solo show. The dress is by a 1950's and 60's Hong Kong label, called "Dynasty", which replicated the then-current British fashions, usually in pure silk. It's beautiful quality but the cotton thread had rotted, so I had to re-sew all of the seams.

Wearing:
• Pink & green embroidered silk 'Dynasty' dress, 1960's, handsewn in Hong Kong.
• Black leggings.
• 1980's granny boots, eBay.
• Black MNG tuxedo jacket, secondhand on eBay.
• Black cardigan, opshopped.
So, without further ado, I am going back to my fantastic post-show-opening-hangover.

Very adorable! Your parents have cute pets. And that Hong Kong dress is amazing!!!
Thank you! They do - I really miss having pets so I have to make the most of it when I'm there :)
It's an amazing label - all of the 50's and 60's Dynasty dresses are just incredible. I have another one, a red silk shirtwaist dress, which I'll have to post soon.
hehe, random animals indeed??! Love that location for photos, too fun!
Can I be your cat pet? I promise I won't sleep on your pretty dresses but simply admire them from afar.
That dress is AMAZING! It looks fantastic on, the colours are perfect, and it's pure silk.
What more could you want?
Xx
Eline - if you were my cat pet, you could sleep on my dresses all you liked, if it made you happy :) You are the sweetest person EVER! Your comment made my day!
Grant - EXACTLY!
A vintage phonebooth in your parent's backyard? Amazing!
